Tomato Soup

During the winter months, I always crave soup! I’m not sure what it is about it getting colder, but sitting in a cosy house looking out to a frosty garden while eating soup is something I love! This low calorie tomato soup is perfect for the winter months!

This soup is so low calorie, it would almost be rude not to pair it with a couple of slices of bread to dunk or even a toastie!

Now, I’m going to be honest with you. This is not an original recipe of mine. I found it by googling ‘Slimming World Tomato soup’ and tried it. When I tell you that it tastes exactly like the Heinz cream of tomato soup, I’m not lying! It’s so good that I couldn’t NOT share it on my site for you!

What’s more, this is probably one of the easiest recipes out there! You simply throw all the ingredients into a pan, leave to simmer, and then blend!

Soup makers

I ran a poll asking if people thought that a soup maker was worth it. It had some very mixed responses! Most who were for the soup maker said that you can simply add all the ingredients into the soup maker and set it away without having to worry. A soup maker which proved to be popular is the Morphy Richards Compact Soup Maker.

I found that those who were against the soup maker mostly said that they didn’t feel the need to buy one. After all, you can make it yourself without too much hassle. One person commented that they found it more satisfying knowing that they had done it all and put the effort in, which I liked!

If you do not have a soup maker, a blender such as the Morphy Richards Jug Blender would do the job perfectly!
