Slimming World Friendly Top 10 Low Syn Snack Ideas

Everyone loves to snack, it’s just a fact. One of the things I enjoy the most about following Slimming World, is that no food is off limits. As long as you manage your daily syn allowance correctly, adding snacks into your daily diet should be easily achievable!

Previous diets which I have tried, snacking consisted of fruit. The joy of Slimming World is that snacking can include crisps, chocolate and sweets if you want it to!

I have compiled a list of my favourite snacks which help me to stay on track with my weight loss.

1. Flower & White Meringue Bar – 3.5 Syns

These bars are so good! They have that delicious meringue sweetness that you need for a crunchy snack between meals!

2. Cheese Curls – 3 Syns

Cheese curls are one of my favourite go-to crisps! I like that they taste just like Quavers, but are also lower in syn value! I like to have these either between my meals as a snack or in my picnic platter! You can buy these at Aldi.

3. BBQ Pop Chips – 4.5 Syns

Pop chips are so delicious! Instead of being deep-fried like most crisps, they’re heated in a pressurised chamber and then released quickly, making them pop! The flavouring on these is great, you can really taste the barbeque!

4. Hartley’s Lemon Cheesecake Jelly – 0.5 Syns

Jelly is one thing I never really thought about after my childhood years… until I joined Slimming World that is! At only half a syn each you really can’t go wrong! My favourite flavour is the Lemon Cheesecake!

5. Jealous Sweets Tropical Wonder – 2.5 Syns

These sweets are great if you have a sweet tooth and like gummy sweets. These sweets are also vegan friendly and gluten free! I love having these in my glove box for a rush hour traffic treat!

6. Mini Jammie Dodgers – 4 Syns

Jammie Dodger’s are a snack I’d always love in my lunchbox! These are great for having in the bottom of your handbag so that they’re always at hand when you need a little extra something! I also have these as part of my Jammie Dodger Pancakes!

7. Strawberry Pure Fruit yo-yo – 1.5 Syns

These are so great for a packed lunch! My favourite flavour is strawberry, but they also come in other flavours too! They’re so full of flavour as well, making each bite delicious. They’re also 1 of your 5 a day if you’re conscious of your fruit & veg intake!

8. Skinny Crunch bar – 4.5 Syns or Healthy B

These are a game changer. I love all things chocolate orange, so these really hit the spot for me! If you don’t want to use the syns for these, you have have 2 bars as your healthy extra B!

9. Native Popped Lotus Seeds – 4 Syns

These are great because you really can’t tell that it’s actually a lotus seed that you’re eating! The flavouring on them is great, as sometimes with things like this they can taste quite bland, however these ones are delicious!

10. Skips – 3.5 Syns

Skips are one of my childhood favourites. The prawn cocktail flavouring is so nice! Who doesn’t love letting them fizz on their tongue before actually eating them?
